I guess I should post my Easter pictures before it gets too far away. We made a last minute trek to be with Jon's family and we were so glad we did. It was fun to be with family on such an important day.
This year we started doing my family's tradition of Easter devotionals with Addie. She loved it. Each night, the week before Easter we would take 15 minutes and talk about what happened that day in the last week of the Savior's life. She can still tell me all of the days and what happened each day. I am so happy my parents did that with us growing up. It made Easter such a meaningful holiday, the focus was always on Christ, His love for us, and power over death. As it should be.
Aunt MaryAnne came for Easter as well, which was a special treat. The clay set that she gave Addie kept her entertained for hours and hours, she wouldn't even stop for Easter dinner.
The little decorations she made adorned Jeffrey's ukulele.
We went to the park for a bit after dinner and we were shocked by how many people were BBQing in the park for Easter. The parks were packed. Is that weird to anyone else? It just doesn't seem like a BBQ in the park kind of holiday to me.
Alison graduates from high school next month. Is that possible? She was 12 when we got married.
Grace is finally pulling herself up on things. I am hoping those chubby leggies will get stronger and stronger so she can start working on walking...my back is killing me from carrying her.

i love that tradition of easter week devotionals! i have never heard that before, but it makes total sense and is such a great idea!
i agree, easter doesn't seem like a bbq holiday. it's more of a ham and cheesy potatoes kind of a holiday if you ask me. :P but based on some of your previous posts, it seems like arizonians have their own culture that the rest of us don't understand....lol.
Thanks for sharing these fun pictures.
Thanks for sharing the cute pictures of the family! You need to make sure Addie brings that dress to Utah this summer and she and Lindsey can be twins.
