I have to admit that I am a Thanksgiving skipper. After Halloween I want to start the Christmas music, pull out Christmas decorations, and start shopping. However, despite my desire to skip over Thanksgiving I really do enjoy it. It kicks the holidays off and makes you feel warm, full, and thankful for all your blessings.
This year we spent it with Jon's family. It was great spending time with them. Addie took a good day to warm up, but by Thanksgiving night she was giving kisses to all and shaking her booty to the music. Actually, I think she was on some crazy Thanksgiving food high, because I honestly have never seen my daughter act so silly. It was 2 hours past her bedtime...so that probably contributed to her wildness.
Here are some pictures of our holiday. We hope yours was wonderful as well!

Jon was pretty much studying the whole trip. Jon did hang out with the family a little, but we are excited for when his finals are over and he gets a real break at Christmas.

Happy Holidays! Is your tree up? The day before Thanksgiving we watched Elf and made Pie, Yesterday we painted the room for our tree green and put up the tree and decorations. Kev keeps finding me sitting in that room and told me I can't spend all my time sitting there, even though I really want to! I am sad we won't be in Utah at the same time! Have a great Holiday Season!!!!
It was sure fun having all of you here with us.
You are a great writer, Maurine, and it is so fun reading all your entries to your blog.
