She's One and He's Done

We had a great weekend. Jon graduated from Law school on Saturday. Hooray! I can't believe we made it through. It has been a long 3 years. As I saw him march in, I have to admit I started tearing up. I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished. I was also really relieved we are finished. Jon has done very well in school. He was given an award by all the professors as the "Outstanding Senior". He deserves it, he worked especially hard this year in all his clinics.

My wonderful friend April and I threw a fabulous party for our husbands and one of their friends. Yummy food and lots of deserts. I didn't get a picture of my cute graduation cupcakes at the party displayed pretty, but here they are right after we finished decorating.We had lots of family at his graduation and we are so happy they came to support him.


We also turned it into a birthday party for our daughters and Adam and Kurt because they all have birthdays this week and all our family was already there for the graduation. Here they are being sung to. Grace got a little scared at 60 people singing to her. I can't believe she is 1.


My parents stayed all weekend with us, and we had so much fun. Addie was in heaven with all the attention from both Grandma and Grandpa, and Grace warmed up a little by the end. (She was at least signing and trying to say Grandpa and Grandma, even if she was still not letting them hold her very often.)
Addie of course wanted to take them to see the snakes again. Jon insisted we take them to try the Sonoran hot dogs, which I think they liked.

They took Addie to our tiny dinosaur museum.
And yesterday before they left, they took us to the best place I have eaten here in Tucson, Vivace. It was delicious. Especially the fondue and gelatto for dessert (which I said we didn't need, but I am definitely glad we got).

Also I didn't get any pictures of swimming, but Grandpa took Addie swimming multiple times and she had so much fun with him. We miss them already.
