Addie is 3!

We had a great time celebrating Addie this weekend. Her actual birthday was on Sunday, so we did a fun party on Saturday. She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake theme and it turned out pretty well. It is just funny because all of the kids she plays with her age, are boys...so they just had to deal with a girly party. I don't think they really cared actually. We had some of Jon's family come as well, which was a treat for Addie. Addie was glued to her Aunt Alison's side most of the party. Here she is eating pizza and salad with Alison and her friend Joseph. This is the Strawberry Shortcake cake I made. Addie wanted strawberry flavored cake with strawberry frosting and strawberry ice cream. Strawberry overload...she didn't think so though. I ended up putting a layer of chocolate cake between the strawberry ones to mix it up and I think it balance it out a bit. Also please ignore the ugly backsplash in my kitchen...gotta love renting right? Addie got really spoiled with gifts from nice friends and family. She got a cool tea set from Jon's cousin and family. She had to try it out right after the party with her Aunt Amy. With all her princess jewlery on of course. Addie helped me make the decorations for the party and she was so excited about them. Also here is a picture of me at 23 weeks pregnant. I am feeling big lately.

Addie is such a sweet girl and we really love having her in our family. Happy Birthday Addie!

Yay cute little prego maurine with her cute little princess and strawberry party. How fun, can't believe Addie is 3! I think the backsplash matches the cake nicely!
I'm going to call you later!
