Don't make me go home!

That is what I said to Jon like a million times in Utah. Unfortunately our visit had to end eventually. Utah in the summer time is really perfect. There is nothing like a Utah summer night or a cool early morning run there. I also loved that I got to hang out with some of my favorite people in the world too. Addie was in heaven with cousins around to play with constantly. I love that she has so much fun with them. I also love that the peer pressure helps her try new things and be brave. Seriously my girl is scared of most things, but she is getting better slowly. I am trying to toughen her up. Here they are taking a break from slip 'n sliding.
Being brave and petting the baby pony.
Reading books with Hailee and Kenna. We also played a whole lot of cards with Hailee while in St. George. She is a crazy card playing girl. Doing yoga with AJ. Addie thinks her uncles are pretty funny, I do too.

The highlight of the trip was when Jon finally joined us for my family's reunion. We did it up in Park City at a house that was big enough for all of us. We hiked, did the alpine slides/rollercoaster, cooked together, shopped at the outlets, etc. It was so beautiful up there and mostly it was just a blast to be all in one place (minus Rich who is serving a mission...but he was remembered through a movie he, Jon, and my brothers made. A spoof of Man vs. Wild. It was funny, but of course made us miss Richard more).

This is the best we could do with Addie, she was scared of every ride. She wouldn't even sit on the horses on the merry-go-round. Stationary bench...whatever.

The arial show we went to at the olympic park was fantastic. The skiiers practice their jumps/tricks into water in the summer. These guys were crazy athletes. They were doing unbelievable tricks. There are so many more pictures of things we did, but I need to get them from my mom or sisters, so I will post them in small doses to spread out the memories of my fun trip. My amazing sister did a photo shoot of Addie at the end of our stay, and I am so excited to see it. Here is her website if you are looking for a fun and talented photographer in Utah. I will post pictures of it when I get them.

Yay! You posted! I looks like you had a blast in Utah. Too bad we just missed each other! I got here yesterday afternoon. And I agree, life doesn't get much better than summer in Utah.

By the way, I love Addie's crazy curly hair!

I am still so sad I just missed you, and quite envious of your summer in Utah... ah, there really is nothing like a beautiful Utah summer. Any place that cools down when the sun goes down seems pretty dang nice right now! Glad you had fun, Addie is growing up so fast!

Yay for vacation! I'm glad you had such a fun time. I'm excited to see you guys in a couple of weeks. I can't believe how fast the summer has gone. It will be neat to see how much all the kids in playgroup have grown up over the summer. :)
