Texas Forever

Apparently Dillion Texas is a fictional town. I was hoping to run into Tim Riggins in Texas so he could save me from the tornado like he saved Julie. Um...you will have to excuse me, I just finished all 5 seasons of Friday Night Lights in a row on Netflix.
On to real life, I did visit Texas last week, and we actually made it home before the tornado hit. Have you seen the video of the tractors being tossed around by the storm? Insanity! Anyways, I found these tickets to Dallas that were crazy cheap. I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to visit my sister and her cute family there. I bought a ticket for all of us, but Jon ended up being too busy to come, so we let him stay here and work to pay for our trip while we went off to play...aren't we nice ;)
The girls and I had so much fun. I was really surprise at how beautiful it was. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was really green and pretty. Amy lives in this cute neighborhood and it seems very family friendly where they live. My brother in law, Brandon is a fabulous orthodontist and they just build a new practice there. Here is their website http://www.pricefamilyortho.com/ if you happen to live in the Frisco, TX area and you know someone who needs an orthodontist.
The kids loved this little hands on science museum. I loved watching them play and explore there. Link

Grace loved this spinner thing...couldn't get her off it. I love this cute cheesy grin face of hers. I haven't seen a lot of it since Texas. She is in full on terrible two mode this week. I looked in her mouth the other day and realized all her 2 year old molars are coming in at once...ouch!

Addie was in heaven with cousins to play with and entertain her. Grace warmed up to everyone (by the last day of course). And I just had so much fun hanging out with my wonderful sister. She is such a great mom and a person that really inspires me to be better.
Thanks again Prices for letting us stay and entertaining us!

I'm so glad you had a great Texas vacation! One of these days we need to plan a trip to see each other, four years is way to long to not see each other!!

What a fun trip! Makes it even better that you got great flight prices! Glad you and the girls had such a good time and that you avoided crazy tornadoes.

PS--Clark is always suggesting we go see the new movies that "Tim Riggins" is in. I am just in season 3...
