Here they are basking in the warmth of the sun and the heated pool. Now let's not be silly, I am not one to swim in January because I guess I am acclimated, and frankly 75 degrees just isn't warm enough for me to get in the pool. But if you come from 20 degrees 75 feels like summer. Addie was ecstatic that someone would take her swimming. Anytime she feels the slightest bit hot, she begs me to take her to the pool...crazy child.

Some of our other adventures included Butterfly Magic at the botanical gardens.

And we took a trip to our little zoo, where we spend a lot of time in the winter. And some zoo keeper accosted us and asked us to come help him train a baby vulture. So we got to go behind the scenes and meet Pip and see his cool tricks.
We had to take them to a good old western gun show. So we spent an evening at Trail Dust, riding the train and watching the show.
The kids had so much fun together. Addie was in heaven with cousins to play with all day and slumber party with at night. Love you guys...are you sure you don't want to move here?

Yes, I'm sure I do want to move there. At least for the winter, right? So, my blog post summing up the sunny trip and singing your praises for feeding us the best food, taking us on great adventures and being the most capable hostess is long overdue. Thank you again!
that weather sounds amazing to me. So fun to have visitors. I feel like i haven't seen you in forever-are you ever coming to utah again? How is Jon's last semester? I would love to catch up sometime. I can't believe how big Grace is already. I thought you stopped working-did you start up again. I tried to cut back but it didn't last long and I seem to be working more than ever-at least Ry is with Pete.
