Six is my favorite number. It is also the number of months my little one has been alive. Does life just keep speeding up the older you get? Or is it the more kids you have. Like each kid you have is like pressing the fast forward key again on the dvd remote. I swear this baby came like yesterday, yet she is sitting up, eating real people food, and saying words. How do they learn all that so fast? Our ability to learn slows down significantly with age doesn't it, or perhaps it reverses. I swear "momnesia" is so real. Or perhaps it is just sleep deprivation.
Anyways, for those who care. Which may be very few of you reading this, here are a few things about my Grace I can't get enough of:

1. Kisses. Big open mouth ones. I will kiss her on her chubby cheeks and then say, "Can I have a kiss?" and she will attack my cheek with her mouth wide open. Then she will laugh and laugh. At breakfast Jon asked her for one and she gave him one quickly pulling back and scrunching up her little nose and trying to itch her lips...he was unshaven. It was so funny.
2. Smiles. She gives them out freely. But she saves her best ones for me (at least that is what I think, Jon and Addie would both claim otherwise). She is very good and making us all feel loved and she has the cutest smile...you can't help but be happy.
   
3. When she mimics the word "hi". I am not sure I could really count it as her first word yet, but when we say hi to her, she will say it back and it sounds pretty much like the real word.
   
4. Grabby Grace. We are in big trouble with this one. Addie was never one of those kids that got into everything. But we have a very different child on our hands this time. Things you think are completely out of her range she somehow grabs and she is always grabbing for something. At our ward Turkey dinner, she got a handful of mashed potatoes off Jon's plate and in her mouth before he realized she had even moved her hand. She has lightning like reflexes. I left her sitting up on the floor in her room while I helped Addie out of the bath, and she wasn't in reaching distance of anything. I come back in the room a second later to find she has somehow gotten the wipe container and pulled out every wipe and was sucking on half of them. Craziness.
5. She is a giant child. She is so chunky and we love to cuddle and tickle her. And she is a cuddle bug.
   
6. She loves Addie. When Addie comes in the room...Grace just starts into fits of giggles. They have a sweet little relationship. They are lucky, sisters make the best friends.
