Smiles and Blessing

We decided to bless Grace the weekend we moved for Jon's internship. My parents and Beth were here because they helped us move up for the summer. So we thought it would be a good time to do it, so that we could include them. I am glad they were here for it and that Jon's family that were around could make it up too. Jon gave her a sweet blessing and she only cried through most of it. She wore the blessing dress that I wore when I was blessed.

We are adjusting to a new place. It is a small town, but doesn't seem as small as we thought it would. The house that we subleased turned out to be horrible in many ways (dirty, bugs, junky), so we found another house that is way better for next month. It is in a community with a pool and a clubhouse with and exercise room...hooray. I think having a pool will help Addie...I really feel bad for her. I think she is bored out of her mind. We don't really know anyone here, so she has no friends to play with, and we don't go out a lot with a new baby. Plus we only brought like a hand full of her toys with us. Poor girl. She is doing well with a new baby though. She is such a good helper, but anxious for Grace to be more fun. The other day she found a shiny rock and she told me it was magic. She closed her eyes and grasped it tightly in her fist and told me she was making a wish. I asked her what she wished for and she replied, "I wished that Gracie was all growed up." I had a good laugh about that and then kind of wished the same thing...newborn stage is so tiring. However Grace started smiling and cooing last week. It is a little reward for all my effort.

You have a lot to be tired about! Moving and a new baby and trying to keep a toddler happy! Hope Jon is liking his internship and that the area is growing on you guys! Glad you found a better place to enjoy it there a little more!

so where did you move to? I think I missed something! Sounds like you are doing great! I don't think 2 is all that bad...I think 3 could definitely push it! I think you will have number three before I do. Hey maybe you can have 3 girls and I'll have 3 boys and we can just set the wedding dates now!
