Projects

I love when I can begin and complete a project in a day. I am kind of ocd like that. When I have unfinished projects lying around it drives me bonkers. Well Addie has been wanting her own apron for months, so finally I just found some fabric we already had and whipped up this cute little kid apron yesterday. It wasn't too long of a project and she loves it. She pretty much wanted to wear it the second she woke up this morning. And she about threw a fit when I told her we were going to postpone our bread making for another day. So I gave in and we made yummy wheat bread today. Here we are before beginning the baking. And here are our beautiful, delicious loaves. Most of the credit should go to my sister Sarah who gave me the recipe for this bread and inspired me to make my own and freeze it instead of buying it from the store. She even grinds her own wheat. I am not that good yet. But I have discovered King Arthur's White Whole Wheat Flour. It is amazing. It gives you a really soft wheat bread and with a really mild wheat flavor...but all the nutrition of wheat.Enjoying the spoils of our labor.
